Frequently Asked Questions
Wallpaper installation FAQ
Answers to the questions we hear most often from homeowners, designers, and commercial clients across Southern California.
How long does a wallpaper installation take?
Most single-room residential installations take one to two days, including wall preparation. Larger projects, murals, or rooms requiring extensive prep (skim coating, plaster repair, removal of existing wallpaper) can take three to five days. We provide a realistic timeline with every quote so you can plan around it.
Do I need to prepare my walls before installation?
We handle wall preparation for you — that’s the most important part of a quality installation. If your walls are freshly painted, ensure the paint has fully cured (typically 21–30 days). Remove pictures and small wall décor; we’ll move and protect furniture as needed.
Can you install wallpaper in bathrooms and kitchens?
Yes. We use moisture-tolerant primers and recommend washable vinyl or vinyl-coated wallpapers for bathrooms and kitchens. Proper ventilation matters — for highly humid bathrooms we may recommend specific brands rated for wet rooms.
What types of wallpaper do you install?
Everything: traditional paper, non-woven, paste-the-wall, vinyl Type II, grasscloth, silk, mylar, peel-and-stick, hand-printed murals, and custom large-format prints. See our services pages for details.
Do you remove old wallpaper before installing new?
Yes, removal is one of our core services. We protect drywall during removal, address any damage, and prepare the wall to a smooth, primer-ready finish. Learn more on our wallpaper removal page.
How much does professional wallpaper installation cost in Southern California?
Pricing depends on wall preparation, wallpaper type, ceiling height, pattern repeat, and accessibility. We provide free, transparent line-item estimates so you can see exactly where the cost goes. Call (747) 351-0841 for a quote.
Do you serve commercial clients?
Yes — we install Type II vinyl, fire-rated wallcoverings, and large-format murals in retail, hospitality, healthcare, and corporate environments. We schedule after-hours and overnight to minimize disruption. See our commercial wallpaper installation page.
Are you insured?
Yes, we carry general liability insurance and our installers are background-checked. We can provide proof of insurance for HOA, property management, or commercial requirements.
Which Southern California cities do you serve?
We serve Palm Springs, Long Beach, Anaheim, Santa Ana, Irvine, Huntington Beach, Glendale, Santa Clarita, Garden Grove, Lancaster, Palmdale, and many surrounding areas. See our service areas page for the full list.
